Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A., an AV-rated, 40+ attorney law firm with offices in Greenbelt and Rockville, MD, seeks a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced paralegal to support trial lawyers in its Rockville location.
- Handling all aspects of propounding and responding to discovery;
- Document management, review and indexing or summarizing;
- Deposition, hearing and trial prep and assistance;
- Discovery and trial subpoenas;
- Client interaction and support; and
- Working with expert witnesses.
- A positive and friendly attitude
- The ability to work independently, multi-task, and operate efficiently in a fast-paced
environment, supporting various litigators - Strong experience in legal research, including Westlaw and/or LexisNexis
- Ability to prepare and edit subpoenas, simple motions, and other correspondence
- Excellent verbal and written communication with strict attention to detail, and
organization, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Knowledgeable of e-filing, calendaring, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
